Content to warn, not to woo
Our words are not seeker-sensitive—they are Scripture-sensitive. They are not crafted to persuade the unregenerate, but to confront the regenerate who have drifted.
About this Publication
What This Is
Pressing Words is not a blog. It’s not a platform for dialogue. It’s not a place for cultural negotiation.
It is a watchtower—a place where truth is declared plainly, where compromise is named, and where Scripture is pressed against the soft underbelly of modern Christianity.
We write to warn the church, not woo the world. Our words are not seeker-sensitive—they are Scripture-sensitive. They are not crafted to persuade the unregenerate, but to confront the regenerate who have drifted.
“I believe that one reason why the church…has so little influence over the world is because the world has so much influence over the church.
~ Charles H. Spurgeon (1834–1892), Pastor of the Metropolitan Tabernacle, London; The Soul Winner, originally published 1895.
What We Believe
- Scripture is sufficient. It does not need embellishment, softening, or strategic framing.
- The gospel is the power of God unto salvation—not clever arguments, cultural relevance, or emotional appeal.
- The natural man cannot discern spiritual things (1 Corinthians 2:14). Therefore, our writing is for those with ears to hear.
- The church is in danger—not from persecution, but from compromise. From affirming what God condemns. From forgetting what God has spoken.
What We Do
We publish articles that:
- Expose worldly ideologies infiltrating the church
- Call Christians back to biblical clarity and conviction
- Refuse to flatter, entertain, or dilute truth
- Speak plainly about sin, embodiment, identity, and holiness
We do not offer balance. We offer biblical boldness.
Who This Is For
- Christians who feel the fog of cultural confusion and want clarity
- Pastors, teachers, and parents who need language for conviction
- Believers who are tired of soft words and hungry for sharp truth
Lastly, this is a Berean ministry—marked by eager reception and daily examination. We do not publish novelty; we publish tested truth. Like the Bereans of Acts 17:11, we confront deception not with innovation, but with Scripture. Our posture is not cultural engagement—it is biblical fidelity
If you’re looking for ecumenical balance, you won’t find it here. If you’re looking for biblical clarity, you’re home.
