Truth and Reason
Truth and Reason are the foundations of Pressing Words, fighting against mainstream progressive and liberal floods of deception, perversion and opinion mongering. We are independent, honest and forthright. We are committed to illustrating the truth by calling out deceptions both subtle and outright. We strive to avoid knowingly and materially misleading our audiences, only standing firm on the deck of our sound and virtuous worldview, which is obvious upon reading our content.
Impartiality and objectivity
Fairness lies at the core of Pressing Words’ commitment to its audience. We will apply due impartiality and objectivity to all our subject matter. We will be fair and open-minded when examining evidence and weighing material facts. Because this publication is designed to expose aggressive and deceitful practices designed to pull our culture down a path of relative truth, truth that is not truth and has no mooring except the will and eyes of the beholder, our writings will feel to that audience, as unfair and bias, and we make no apologies for that; after all, it is that group that is striving to relabel our society and outlaw and shame opposition views.
Editorial Integrity and Independence
Pressing Words is independent of outside interests and arrangements that could undermine our editorial integrity. Our audiences should be confident that our decisions are not influenced by outside interests, political or commercial pressures.
Harm and Offence
We write about the world as it is, but we balance our right to present our editorial content with the reasonable expectation that we do not make personal and specific character attacks; although our positions may be unavoidably in direct conflict to the worldview lens of others, and they may very mistakenly interpret some content as a personal attack.
Serving the Public Interest
We pursue a world narrative that is significance to our audiences. We will be rigorous in calling out truth and deceptions. We will vigorously challenge faulty assumptions and outright deceptions that are foisted upon our culture, for the specific purpose of shifting it from reason and truth and creating a perverse and wicked generation. Our expertise will bring authority and analysis to our complex and nuanced world of views and cultures. We earnestly and joyfully enter the arena of public discourse to better inform the debates, on the side of truth, goodness and beauty.
Fairness
Our content production will be based on truth, reason, clarity, and integrity. Contributors and audiences will be treated with personal respect, though our opinions may to them feel disrespectful and intolerant to their worldviews, just as theirs may be to ours.
Privacy
We will respect privacy and will not infringe upon it without good reason. Private correspondence and conversation will not be explicitly brought into our publication, therefore, you will not see comments letters to the editor published and replied to in the publication. Why, because we have never seen this be productive, it always becomes a mud-throwing calamity and we do not wish to soil you or be soiled in this manner.
Editorial Transparency and Pen Names
At the outset, our policy is to use pen names, for the sheer joy of it, to reasonably shield our writers from predatory attacks (the very provocateurs whose purposed deceptions and aggressions we are seeking to call out).
